Dr. Sandhu grew up in Irmo, SC, and has called Charleston home since the beginning of her medicine training. She graduated from Irmo High School, and went to Atlanta, GA where she completed her BS in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology at Emory University, with a minor in religious studies. She returned to SC for her medical training at the Medical University of South Carolina and was fortunate enough to remain there for the duration of her training through medical school, intern year, medicine residency, cardiology fellowship, and interventional cardiology fellowship. Close family ties and a deep connection to the Charleston community led her to search for employment in Charleston, and she is excited to care for patients locally with the other providers at Trident Cardiology!
Dr. Sandhu is board certified in Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology. In her free time, she enjoys being outside, reading, watching and playing sports, and spending time with those people that are important to her.
